Very attractive hotel. Brilliant location and has parking which is unusual in Eastbourne. Next to the pier, and close to terminus road where all the restaurants are. Single room.clean . Nice shower room. Even though it was very busy it was not noisey.. Right on the promenade for easy walking .

Room was very spacious and clean with a sea view. Meals and service was excellent. Entertainment good. Hotel is right on the front just opposite the puer. Will definitely be going back. Went on an ALFA travel holiday which we always enjoy as we meet new people and the excursions are good.

First time in Eastbourne with a coach party. A grand Victorian building on Eastbourne promenade. Victorian grandeur galore with the interior. The rooms, though slightly dated, were very clean and comfortable. Food, though simple, was plentiful, even for a picky eater like me. They also offer a Chef's dish of the day, so all bases are covered. Bar prices, considering that we were 'Darn Sarf' were very reasonable. £3.60 for a house spirit double, cocktails are also available. Serving staff, dining room and bar, were very friendly, efficient and worked incredibly hard to make our stay a good one. Great location, close to the town centre and public transport links with open-top buses and a land train. There is a Tesco Express around the back of the hotel. If you go along the sea front slightly, there is also a Greene King pub.

We were part of a coach party which stayed for 6 nights. A Victorian build with plenty of character. The room was spacious and plenty big enough for my husband and I. It had a double bed and a single bed. Our bathroom was a walk in shower and toilet. We were in room 328 and although we didn't pay for a sea view we had one. The beds were comfortable. The food was plain but good. If you wanted more of anything you only had to ask. All the staff were fantastic and all of them from the house keepers, servers, reception and kitchen staff worked their socks off. There was entertainment on every night and of course bingo. The bar prices were very reasonable. It was £3-60 for a double short. £7 for a cocktail and £4-60 for a pint of beer. There is a car park although the general public could use it for a fee. We went with Alfa travel and this is one of their own Leisureplex hotels. The demographic is for the more mature clientele and my son at 30 years old was definitely the youngest, but we had a fabulous holiday and thoroughly enjoyed Eastbourne.

Had a brilliant holiday here. All staff provided excellent service and are a real credit to the hotel. Had a nice surprise at the size of the room I got, only a single but could have easily been a double. Food was very nice. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Eastbourne to stay here.
